Back to the Future at TMC!

A return to a spiritual/musical home in my life!

Recently, I had the great privilege of attending the morning service on Sunday at The First Church of Christ, Scientist – also known as The Mother Church (TMC). It’s the worldwide headquarters of this international church where I served as the Soloist for 7 years.

Princess For A Day!

I had the great pleasure to work with the wonderful musician/guitarist Chieli Minucci(best known for his band, Chieli Minucci & Special EFX) this past week. Chieli composed the theme song for a Princess World Expo in Shanghai, China — and I recorded it for him on Saturday at his studio.

Spring Renewal: A Walk In The Snow

Spring Renewal: A Walk In The Snow

What a joy to perform for the audience that evening! During the day, however, I had the privilege of singing for an additional, but spontaneous audience ...

January 25, 2016

On David Bowie's passing:

In pondering David Bowie’s passing this week and celebrating his life and work with the rest of the world, I’ve been reminded of my own David Bowie story — my David and Iman story – with its six degrees of separation.

Do you know the theory of “Six Degrees of Separation”? Wikipedia defines it this way: “Everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of “a friend of a friend” statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.”

My David and Iman story definitely proved this theory and it’s a sweet memory with a great lesson ...
