“The heaven-sent voice of Julia Wade hauntingly asks “How Are We Raising Our Sons” and lifts “A Still Small Voice” up to dimensions beyond.”

~Laurie Lawson, Electronic Link Journey, NYC

Off-Broadway, Julia recently starred in “IS ANYBODY LISTENING? — Theatrical Concert and Webcast” at the Sheen Center’s Loreto Theater — a musical production that explores the problems and solutions of many of the world’s current crises through music and social justice.

Internationally, Julia was featured at the Massimo Theater (Palermo) and the Rome Opera House in Kurt Weill's LADY IN THE DARK. The co-production was aired nationally on RAI television throughout Italy in both English and Italian.

As a recording artist, Julia’s work ranges from classical crossover to musical theater, inspirational and pop music. She has 13 solo albums to her credit, which have been produced and orchestrated by Broadway composer and record producer Peter Link. Other recordings include children’s albums and cast/concept albums. As a concert artist, Julia tours her concerts all over the United States, taking her audiences on an inspirational journey which has been described as “evocative” and “beautifully entertaining all the while your soul is being nourished!"

Julia’s work in Inspirational music includes her successful 7-year run as the Soloist of the world headquarters of a major international church in Boston, MA where she performed and was broadcast live on the internet weekly, singing in both English and Spanish. She is credited with expanding the music worldwide by bringing new music and innovative ideas to the broadcast services.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Julia spent her early years moving across the eastern seaboard and the midwest. With her family, she continued to move west until she eventually finished her growing up years in California. Though her background is a virtual tapestry of many regions, cities and towns, Julia is proud to call herself a true New Yorker, having made it her home base over the course of her career — and she can hail a taxi with the best of them!

"‘Come To Me As A Bird’ is performed exquisitely by the wonderful Julia Wade, whose heartbreakingly crystalline soprano and soaring passion matches the purity of the song’s spirit.”
