Auditions - Part 1
At the start of 2023, I had just come off of a 3-year sprint of projects -- recording on cast concept albums, starring in 2 podcast dramas -- one being Rosemary And Thyme - A Podcast Musical in 16 episodes -- and finally taking to the boards to perform Dot/Marie in Sunday In The Park with George. What a time!
That brought me to the beginning of 2023 where I found my home at Encompass Arts with the wonderful Kathy Olsen and Jennifer Olsen. Through their constant work, I've played wonderful diverse characters at the invitation of casting directors. I have explored sides and scripts, telling stories and loving this adventure on a path I have long desired to take.
Since February 2023, I set up my video studio, learned, produced and submitted over 70 self-tape auditions. February 2024 marks a year of self-taping in which I made it through pre-screen auditions, went on call backs, and booked work!
Now, in 2024, I continue auditioning and sharpening needed skills. I'm deep into this new phase of my artistic life, and I'm filled with gratitude to get to explore new directions.
